Tig Welder

Our continued growth and development mean that we are looking for a new colleague to join us as a TIG Welder.

Your challenge as a TIG Welder

As a welder, you will process pre-cut rectangular tubes and sheet metal components into complete frames for our machines. These are medium-sized welded structures with material thicknesses ranging from 2 to 5 mm. You will work closely with your direct colleague in the welding department.

The result: high-quality, aesthetically pleasing welds. Ultimately, the frames must meet stringent accuracy requirements.

• Assemble, tack weld and fully weld frames;

• Independently determine the work sequence and working method based on welding assembly drawings;

• Manage and organize the welding area, including welding tools, welding materials, finishing tools, etc.;

• Develop improvement proposals and discuss them with the Team Leader.

Who are we?

We are Lantech, a healthy and growing international organization in the machine-building industry. We design, build and provide service for packaging machines, conveyor modules and other related systems.

At our Malden location, we develop and assemble case and tray handling machines. From here, our team of 250 dedicated colleagues, together with a strong network of partners, manages sales and service activities across Europe.

Your background as a TIG Welder

• Extensive experience in TIG welding steel and stainless-steel structures;

• Additional experience in bench work and metalworking;

• An interest in and affinity with assembly work;

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing is an advantage;

• A flexible attitude;

• A high degree of independence.
