Teamleader Field Service

Lantech is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader Field Service to strengthen our service team. As Team Leader Field Service, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of Field Service Engineers within our Service Department.

Your challenge as Team Leader Field Service

As Team Leader Field Service at Lantech, you play a crucial role in the success of our Field Service team. Your main responsibility is to coordinate a team of Field Service Engineers and ensure optimal collaboration within the team. You monitor the overall planning and take action in case of understaffing or overstaffing. You are responsible for checking working hours and reviewing expense claims. You also regularly review service reports and provide guidance where improvements are needed.

In addition, you manage the Field Service Engineers with regard to all personnel-related matters. This includes performance and appraisal meetings, holidays, tool management, and monitoring employee satisfaction. You are in frequent contact with the Field Service Engineers and stay up to date with what is happening in the field.

And it doesn't stop there: you organize training sessions and technician days to ensure everyone stays up to date, while continuously looking for ways to make our processes smarter and more efficient.

Who are we?

Your background as Team Leader Field Service

• A technical background at higher professional education (HBO) level, gained through education and/or experience;

• Extensive experience in the machine-building industry, preferably with field service experience;

• A coaching leadership style;

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure;

• Good command of both English and German.
